Hey there, I'm René, a German video artist and professional musician with almost 20 years of experience in the industry. Playing in a successful band myself, I know how important it is to regularly release decent visuals to promote your songs. I personally like lyric videos that also contain a visual performance of the artists to make the emotional impact of the song even bigger. Here is my process:
- At first we talk about the main concept.
- Then you film yourself or your band performing your song in front of a green screen.
- You send me your footage, I key and edit it.
- I design a (3D) scene, composite your footage and create all the camera and lyrics animation plus add optional details and effects.
Nowadays it is not a big deal anymore to film good green screen footage. If you plan to film yourself I'm also glad to give tipps and advises how to get a good result.
